General Rules
1. Betting with Sportingbet
1.1 Sportingbet is a reference to Sportingbet.com, one of the trading names of (i) Internet Opportunity Entertainment (Sports) Limited - a company registered in Antigua and Barbuda (reg no 12628) with registered office address at c/o Corporate & Trust Services (Caribbean) Limited, Lower Factory Road, St Johns, Antigua and Barbuda and (ii) Interactive Sports (C.I.) Limited - a company registered in Alderney (registered number 1622) with registered office address at 8 Albert Mews, Ollivier Street, Alderney. Internet Opportunity Entertainment (Sports) Limited and Interactive Sports (C.I.) Limited are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Sportingbet Plc. Sportingbet Plc is a company registered in England and Wales (reg no 3534726) with registered office address at 4th Floor, 45 Moorfields, London, EC2Y 9AE. In addition, Sportingbet (Management Services) Limited (reg no. 3984715) with registered office at 4th Floor, 45 Moorfields, London, EC2Y 9AE is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sportingbet plc.
1.2 Sportingbet is licensed to accept bets via electronic media on a global basis under our sports betting licence held by Interactive Sports (C.I.) Limited in Alderney and under our gaming licences held by Internet Opportunity Entertainment (Sports) Limited in Antigua and Barbuda.
1.3 There is no betting tax or other taxes imposed by Sportingbet attributable to clients who bet with Sportingbet. However customers still need to comply with their local laws in this respect and are advised to seek their own independent advice.
1.4 All European sports bets are considered to be placed and received in the jurisdiction of Alderney and all non-European sports bets and all other bets are considered to be placed and received in the jurisdiction of Antigua and Barbuda, in each case in accordance with the terms of our licences.
1.5 It is each customer's responsibility to ensure that they comply with their own local laws with regard to betting, before opening an account or placing a bet with Sportingbet.
1.6 Internet gambling may be illegal in the jurisdiction in which you are located and if so, you are not authorised to use your payment card to undertake transactions. You should take your own independent advice before placing any bets with Sportingbet.
1.7 These rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alderney and any disputes related to them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Alderney. |
